Our advanced search for Indian law updates offers several options to help make your search more precise and to get more accurate results.
You can reach our advanced search page by clicking on "Advanced Search" near the Indian Law Updates search box located on our Articles & Writings page, our Indian Law Updates Archives page, and other pages throughout our websites.
With Advanced Search, you can search for Indian law updates:
You can use any one of the search options in the Advanced Search, multiple ones, or all of them. For example, you can only select names of one or more attorneys without using any search terms to simply retrieve every Indian law update posted by those attorneys or select a time frame without any search terms to retrieve every Indain law update posted within the time you select.
Boolean Operators ('+', '-', 'OR', etc.) are not supported on our Advanced Search page since the Advanced Search itself reflects a boolean search. If you want to use boolean operators, you should use our standard search for Indian law updates.
As with the standard search for our Indian Law Updates, words are automatically stemmed. Thus, when appropriate, your search will look for not only the exact words you type, but also for words similar to the ones you type. For example, if you search for Indian, articles containing the word "Indians" will also be returned. Similarly, a search for legislation would include "legislate," "legislating," "legislated," "legislature," and so forth. However, words included as an exact phrase in the Advanced Search are not stemmed.
When searching our Indian law updates, certain common words and certain characters like "#," "*," and "&" are excluded because they tend to slow down your search without improving the results.
